About Corkwood Creative

Welcome to Corkwood Creative, where creativity and sustainability come together! We started as a knitwear design studio, but our passion for reducing fabric waste and recycling materials inspired us to launch an online store selling a unique selection of textile art supplies, yarns, trims, and tools, some of which we manufacture ourselves in Sussex using factory overstock and materials often discarded in modern production.
We personally have used many of these items, drawing from our many years of experience with textiles, and we’re always happy to share tips and advice. Our mission is to encourage everyone to think twice before discarding old clothes and materials, and to show how rewarding it is to transform the ordinary into something lovely.
In addition to our sustainable offerings, we also specialize in vintage and unique yarns, as well as bargain lots that are perfect for the adventurous creator. Our collection includes rare and unusual yarns that you won’t find in typical craft stores, adding a touch of character to any project.
